A new proposal has been submitted to the EU for establishing a major maritime centre (TMCE) in Turkey value at 41 MEUR.

TRAIN 4Cs III proposal to send SOS graduates to Glasgow City College supported by C4FF has been approved by the EU. SOS was funded by the EU and led to recognition of TUDEV MET programmes worldwide.

TUDEV scheme supported by C4FF to send cadets to Plymouth University has been very successful. All students have been successful to date. Three more cadets were sent to Plymouth University in September 2011 to study the final year of the Hons degree in Marine Science (commercial Shipping)

MarEdu through C4FF will support several international project proposals including the Twinning proposal with Azerbaijan.

A new EU funded project called IMPACT will commence in January 2012.

TUDEV will organise the SURPASS projects final group meeting and conference on 13-14 December 2011 in Istanbul, Turkey – details will be send shortly
